Like the many other organizations on campus, CSA utilizes fundraisers to supplement their budget in order to continue on pursuing their goals of providing its members the tools needed to succeed.
Community Service
CSA cares about South Texas and routinely participates in community service events sponsored by not only Texas A&M University-Kingsville, but by the City of Kingsville and the neighboring school districts as well.
Recruitment
As recruitment goes, CSA is one of the many organizations at Texas A&M-Kingsville that take part in organization fairs which occur during the university's "Javelina Preview Days" & "Hoggie Days". These opportunities are important because it gives present CSA members the opportunity to interact with incoming freshman of the university who plan on majoring in or something related to computer science while providing them with the assurance of current computer science majors to confide in who are part of CSA.
Socials
Computer-science majors need some downtime too! Socials are a way of keeping relationships within the organization strong and allow us to get to know each-other as individuals. Pizza parties, Movie-nights and video-game competitions are the most popular types of socials in CSA.
